Repeat after me.  This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle I am useless.

Think you're pro at sniping?  Maybe in Call of Duty.  Sniping in Ghost Warrior makes CoD 4 look like a baby's toy.  Not only do you need to adjust for wind direction and speed, but you must also account for gravity and enemy movement.  Don't even get me started on the Coriolis effect.  It's a good thing that City Interactive released a tactics video to give would be sharpshooters the low down on sniping.  Consider this basic training.

I'm going to go ahead and call this right now.  Sniper: Ghost Warrior is going to be the under dog game of the summer.  I'm willing to bet that you could ask ten (so called) "hardcore gamers" what they think of Sniper: Ghost Warrior, and they wouldn't even know what you're talking about.  At the moment the game is low on the radar, but that doesn't mean it won't be good.  Personally I think this game is going to be epic, not to mention it's launching at the budget price of $39.99.

Bullet physics will really set the good players apart from the terrible ones in multiplayer.  Admittedly, getting used to having to adjust for the wind and gravity will be a major change coming from Call of Duty.  Nailing a 1000 yard snipe on a moving target is sure to be thrilling, let's just hope there is a kill cam so you fallen foe can see how badly you owned him.

Check out the trailer and start taking notes.  We'll see you on the battlefield June 29th.
