Red Dead Redemption Treasure Locations

So for all you treasure hunters on the go we present the Treasure Hunting Guide. With our help you'll be on your way to earning that Legend of the West title in no time.
The below guide gives you the details on the 9 treasure locations in Red Dead Redemption. Treasure locations are displayed in order, with popup thumbnail (click for full size) images of the locations to help you pin them down.
Treasure # 1 - Rhode's Gold
Location - Hanging Rock (Cholla Springs)

The first treasure is located in Cholla Springs at Hanging Rock. Hanging Rock is found due north of Amradillo at the convergence of 3 paths. Head north out of Amrmadillo until you come across a tree located to the left of a large rock. As you get closer look for the telltale noose hanging from one of the tree branches. Once you've spotted the noose your in the right spot.
Head to the back of hanging rock and look for a gap between the rocks. Head through the opening and keep your eyes trained to the ground. Follow the largest boulder around until you see a small indent. In the indent should be a pile of lightly colored stones which are covering Rhode's Gold. Investigate the stones and you'll unearth a mighty large bar of gold and the next treasure map.
Treasure # 2 - Jackson's Gold
Location - Del Lobo Rock (Rio Bravo)

The second treasure is located in Rio Bravo at Del Lobo Rock. Del Lobo Rock is located at the rivers edge just East of Fort Mercer. Head out on horseback and make your way up the cliff. Right before you get to the edge you will pass an abandoned campsite. Once you reach the campsite look towards the river. You should see a small opening in the rocks where you can fit through. If you look down from the opening you will see a few small ledges jetting out from the cliffside Slowly climb your way down to the first ledge. Walk to the left of the first ledge and down to the next. After that you have one more ledge to climb down, just make sure to take your time or you'll likely fall to your death.
Once you reach the third ledge, turn right and walk down a small incline. At the bottom you should see a pile of small stones. Investigate the stones to collect Jackson's Gold and the next treasure map.
Treasure # 3 - Calhoun's Gold
Location - Abandoned Mansion (Tumbleweed)

The third treasure is located in the abandoned mansion where you fought the the Treasure Hunters with Seth. The mansion is located in Tumbleweed just West of Gaptooth Ridge.
Upon reaching the mansion, you'll notice that the front doors are locked. Head left from the front door and head into the basement. As you walk forward you'll notice the skull of a bull hanging from a post on the wall. Underneath are some lightly colored stones in a neat pile. Investigate the pile of stones to unearth Calhoun's Gold and the next treasure map.
Treasure #4 - Tubman's Gold
Location - Rio Del Toro - (Perdido)

The fourth treasure is found South of the boarder in Perdido at Rio Del Toro. Head North from Chuparosa until you reach the riverbank. Then follow the river west until you come across a tree that has been adorned with cow skulls.
Once you see the tree look towards the river and you will notice two brick walls. Jump over the first brick wall and head for the second. Jump over the second brick and run along the side that faces the river. Just after a small break in the wall you should find a small rock pile. Investigate the pile and pocket Tubman's Gold and the next treasure map.
Treasure #5 - Brown's Gold
Location - Crooked Toes (Escalera)

The fifth treasure is located at a rock formation known as Crooked Toes northeast of Escalera. Head north from Escalera and you will reach a path running east/west. Once you reach the path change your direction to head slightly east. Keep your eye out for 3 small spire like rock formations.
Once you reach the rocks head to the tallest of the three. Look down and you should see a small stone you can jump on. Jump on the stone and then make your way across to the next higher stone. It may take a few tries to navigate the 3 jumps required to reach the top of the spire. Once you make the 3rd jump you should be able to climb up to the top of the rock where a small ledge hides Brown's Gold. Investigate the rocks to pocket another gold bar and the next treasure map.
